"I wanted it to stay fair" - Reinhard Plüschke, from the coach to the impartial

50 years of passion for fairness, game culture and referee

With over 2,000 guided games, 623 tournament operations and half a century commitment to football, Reinhard Plüschke is a fixture in the Lower Saxony referee. Reason enough to look back on his impressive career.

From sports student to the game master

Reinhard Plüschke found his way to the referee whistle in the 1970s. After studying military service and a sports study, he initially only stepped in as a driver of a youth team. But more developed from it.

"After the second game I was told: 'You absolutely have to be our trainer!'"

He started training the A and B youth in Göttingen. A key experience finally led him to the referee:

"The referee failed in an important game. The supervisor of the visiting team took over, but made several dubious decisions. That bothered me sustainably. I wanted it to stay fair, so I became a referee myself."

Career course with heart and attitude

After a year and a half in the youth, Plüschke switched to the men's area. His career took him from the district league to the association league. But his commitment was not just limited to whistling.

"I have been working in the Göttingen district since 1975. From 2001 to 2007 I was the chairman, later I took on tasks as secretary and managing director."

Even at the age of 73, he continues to be active in the Göttingen football district.

Experiences that stay

Unforgettable games do not have to take place on a big stage.

"A special game was a friendly between Göttingen 05 and Ferencváros Budapest. That was a real highlight for me."

A competitive local derby of SVG Göttingen also burned down - not because of the spectacle, but because of the sporting intensity.

Motivation from the love of the game

What drives him to this day is the passion for the game itself.

"The movement on the pitch, the obligation towards sport and the joy of the task. I just like to be there."

This setting runs through its entire career - consistently and credible.

More respect on the pitch

For the future, Plüschke has a clear message to players, spectators and those responsible:

"You have to take the decision as it made - it has to go on."

He is particularly bothered by the increasing loss of respect for referees:

"If you want to do it better, you should try it yourself - but not make every game a survey."

50 years of use - a thank you

Reinhard Plüschke stands for reliability, integrity and the love of sport. His decades of commitment deserves recognition far beyond the field.

We at B+D All -purpose thank you for 50 years of use in the service of fairness!
